In what way is it confirmed?
Has someone from our readers tried it out?
Call me a skeptic, but to my understanding the augmented reality bit is not available in the version that can be downloaded from the appstore. (on the other hand, I don't have an iPhone either, so I can't check it).

> How come Apple approved an app that uses a private API?
Not sure.

> Does it really matter as long as it did?
Not sure.

> Has Apple opened up?
Not sure.

> Will it signal a flood of AR apps on the iPhone app store?
If not now, then with 3.1... YES.

Did it just slip through as Darkflame suggests (and therefore possibly get pulled) ? I doubt it. This app has gotten pre-launch publicity like few others. It's not like it's an 'under-the-radar' app.
