I&#039;m really pleased Microsoft is looking at using photosynth as alignment/positioning technology, as I see the biggest potential in that field.
GPS, Wifi/(Skyhook) are all well and good, but at some point we are going to need serious alignment on the cm scale rather then the meter scale. And crowdsource/dynamicaly generated 3d mapping is really the only way to get that.]]></description>
