If it’s real, then wow, just wow
But it’s probably a fake, uploaded to youtube by a user who has joined the video sharing site just yesterday, and have managed to upload leaked videos of Mario Galaxy DS and Star Craft 2. The F word at the end of the clip above is also a telling clue. But, an AR fan can be hopeful, no?As a bonus, in case this really turns out to be a fake, here’s how an AR version Metal Slug should look like:

Given the WiiU doesnt actualy have a back-facing camera in any of its announced specs or demos, sadly this is fake. Good concept however.
Very dumb move on Nintendos part not having a camera there though – especialy as it actualy goes backward on what the Wii could do. (which had a IR camera, which at least gave it absolute positioning relative to IR points).
Heres my crude mockup of what Nintendo should have done for their controller;

The idea being the left/right parts are identical and modular, so with just one part and the screen you could play an AR shooting game about your house.
